When I write 2k? Anarchy.

When I write 12k? So much love it's ridiculous.

If you've missed the wank, you are more than welcome to come read my story at [livejournal.com profile] takingitinturns. Found here: http://community.livejournal.com/takingitinturns/6914.html#cutid1

JUST FOR THE RECORD: I have never made any, ANY accusations about who the anon individual was. Please, DON'T PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH. I have never, had any personal interaction with [livejournal.com profile] deadwoodpecker until now and have not been privy to details of any other personal interaction she has had with friends of mine or any previous wank or WHATEVER. *facepalm*

BUT CAUTION because my writing might actually make you angry and make you leave anon comments about how much my writing BLOWS and is actually fecal matter. Just a warning.

TRY TO REFRAIN: from attacking the anon personally. If you have something to say, be nice to them. If you're mean, you're letting them win. Okay? Do it for me.

My OTP has kicked me out. Lol. That's okay. I'll be interested in seeing what people think of my [livejournal.com profile] hp_spring_fling...

In other news... I was going to start my rarities but it's a very unfamiliar pairing and I'm going to wait until my confidence comes back a little stronger. Not that the anon has truly gotten me but I think that maybe I just don't fit in the with the het!world anymore. Which has been something I've realized more and more. I'm just a big queer and I like to be pervy and cracky and I offend people, which I'm fine with. Oh and I'll post pictures of my new and improved, dyke hair cut.

Anyone out there on the flist that has experience writing longish Snape? Cause I might need some help with brain storming. Bah.

RANDOM:
Okay, in [livejournal.com profile] hogwartsishome we get sorted into house and when we sort other people we get to live "Signature tags". LAUGH AWAY BECAUSE OMG THESE TAGS ARE SO MUCH MADE OF WIN:

Lol! Rainbows! *snort* XD

If you love the pairing, you should keep writing it. Let them just try to take away your H/G membership card! What the prudes don't realize is Ginny's as pervy as they come. She must be. She's a Weasley for crissakes!

*sigh* I'm sorry there is so much drama in the group that is for your OTP (i just learned from your reply that they are). Sucks that its rattled you a bit, but you handled it marvelously :D *HUGS* Anonymous probably can't write him/herself out of a paper bag!

That was some impressive wank... and you handled it in a very mature way *applauds*

Oh, dear. I really hate to see this:

I was going to start my rarities but it's a very unfamiliar pairing and I'm going to wait until my confidence comes back a little stronger.

I hope you don't mind my dropping in on your journal since you don't know me, but I was concerned about you after I read that mean review at [livejournal.com profile] takingitinturns. Your reply didn't give any of this away, mind you - it was wonderfully even-handed and very articulate and should have made the flamer ashamed of her/himself.

I know [livejournal.com profile] r_becca is upset about this, too. She doesn't have challenges to set people up for flames - she just wants more lovely fan fiction for all of us to read. Your piece was a great addition to the challenge, not just because it was funny and light-hearted (it was) but because it dared to show family in a different way while still keeping within the spirit of the books.

I was puzzled by some of your reviews, saying it was a crack fic. To me, there was something serious going on behind the humor. A family is what Harry always wanted in canon and in this story you showed just what he ended up with - a messy, imperfect, lovable family that is worth coming home to. I'm sorry that your flamer couldn't see that.

Aw, crap. Just when I've found you, now I think you might not right anymore "dad Harry" or H/G...

*wah*

Fuckin' flamers!!!!

I really, really liked your story, your dialogue and your humor. And I am completely and utterly straight, btw. But I live in city with a HUGE gay community, have gay friends, blah, blah, blah. Slash is not shocking to me in the least.

But I think what upset people the most was that "Charlie going after Al" line. I know you meant it in humor and I still can't believe others didn't.

Sigh.

This is just a long-ass way of me saying I hope you don't stop writing for H/G. I mean, if you want to. I understand if you just want to take a deep dive into slash. I normally don't read it 'cuz fanfic slash writers seem to be obsessed with Harry/Draco pairings which just makes me throw up in my mouth. I'm a strictly canon-pairing gal.

But you're so freakin' funny that I'll take a look at your stuff.

In fact, would you friend me? This way I don't have to search around for ya. Thanks!

SO, I decided that I'm friending you because I'm a big queer, too and no matter what that anon said, I think you're a brilliant writer on the merits of your [livejournal.com profile] hp_springsmut and the H/G I just read. :D

From: [identity profile] liriop.livejournal.com

I'd just want to apologize for coming into your LJ to reprimand your friends that were assuming things they shouldn't.

Since I'm here, I'd just like to say that I totally agree with StMargarets said. English is not my native language and I prefer not to speak too much because it is easy to be misinterpreted, but as the lovely StMargarets said exactly what I think (both about the wonderful way you handled with that anonymous poster and about your fic), I guess I don't need to be repetitive. Please don't leave the H/G part of the fandom. that anonymous poster is an exception among us, not the rule at all.

Hey there,

Wow. This is disturbing--I was just dropping by to say again how I'd enjoyed your springsmut story. In a way it read like a classic remus/sirius (and I mean that as a compliment). I am also adding you, if that's okay. Someone named "loopy4lupin" friended me, and frankly I thought it was you, so I thought I already had! :)

From: [identity profile] r-becca.livejournal.com

Don't let a couple of creeps stop you from writing Harry/Ginny, please! The wonderful thing about this pairing is that different writers can take the pairing in totally different directions -- Harry and Ginny can easily star in fluffy teen romance, mystery, angst, adult family storylines, or twisty dark plotlines equally. If one or two H/G fans are shocked at first, then that's good! Let them be shocked. Many more will find that they enjoy such stories, I think. :)

As I've been on vacation, I haven't had a chance to read your story yet but I'm looking forward to it. I think you handled the comments well... and the overwhelming response just goes to prove that there's no such thing as bad publicity!

Hey

Sorry this has nothing to do with your post. I am trying to get a hold of deadwoodpecker, if anyone can help me.
